Picnic celebrates fresh, local, seasonal produce, creating healthy and wholesome meals and goods that nourish body and soul. We offer eat-in, takeaway and take-home food and beverages, crafted from scratch and made with care.

Our seasonal breakfast, brunch and lunch menus showcase the produce of the region, and we daily stock our food bar with a range of house-made pies, pastries, cakes, jams, krauts and sauces. All our food is thoughtfully prepared to ensure the highest quality freshness and flavour.

Picnic partners with select suppliers to bring you the best products, including Reuben Hills micro roastery coffee, organic Mayde Tea, local Balter Beer on tap, Buchi kombucha and Witches Falls cider. Fresh sourdough is baked by the team at Pixel Bakery. Relax and enjoy an Australian natural wine or a cold house-pressed juice.

Unwind on the grass in the sunshine, head into the natural light-filled dining room or graze on the deck under the trees. Or if you’d like to picnic at one of the many scenic spots around the mountain, simply order a picnic box and takeaway, with vegan, vegetarian, gluten- and dairy-free options available. You can also pre-order house-made cakes for your celebration. (48 hours notice required, during our business hours).

Loborn: ‘locally born’ modern amaro and spirits

Based in centuries-old Italian heritage, amaro has long captivated discerning palates with a complex blend of local botanicals and a bittersweet allure. Originating as herbal elixirs crafted by Mediaeval monks, before being embraced by the avant-garde communities of twentieth century Milan, amaro has a history synonymous with art, food and the best of Italian culture.

Amaro has always been created with local botanicals as an expression of place, and the vast majority of amaro in Australia comes from Italy. So, inspired by this storied legacy, Loborn’s founder, Tom Drewett, had a thought: what if he could reinvent the famous bitter aperitif using local Australian botanicals to create a distinctly modern amaro that pays homage to the rich history and craftsmanship of Italy but with a distinctly local flavour.

The outcome is Loborn, impeccably crafted Australian aperitifs, inspired by and handcrafted on Tamborine Mountain, and distilled with pure filtered spring water, sourced onsite.

Loborn lineup:

Amaro No1: A bright aperitif crafted with a vibrant blend of native botanicals, perfect for a golden hour Spritz.

Amaro No2: A ruby red Australian amaro rich with bittersweet complexity. Our Amaro No2 is ideal for cocktails like the negroni or americano.

Loborn Original Gin: A crisp dry gin handcrafted with a blend of juniper and native citrus.
